  Not a lot of vegan options but the chef is always accommodating when we ask them to use a small amount of oil on the veg fajitas.  The Mexican Guacamole is the bomb!  My wife prefers PM over all the other Mexican restaurants in town so we go at least once a week for lunch.

  This place is usually awesome, and today the food was still delicious, but we got over charged for the daily drink special that we were told about when seated.  Today was the first time I tried their tamale which was the perfect soft texture with both chicken inside and beef/sauce on top.  My favorite dish the Chile Relleno did not disappoint.. I'm all about the mole sauce!  Don't get me wrong they usually do a good job here.
  
  The staff is always super nice here, and today we made it in right before the busy weekday lunch rush.  We didn't realize the drinks weren't discounted on our ticket like we were told until after swiping the card. We went up to the front register and asked about the discrepancy but weren't offered a refund for the difference.  I guess it was only a couple dollars but still the polite guy at the register didn't know how to make it right. Make sure to check your receipt for any daily specials or discounts before you pay.

  Usually I can rely on Yelp to lead me to solid dining choices in strange cities.  This time it failed me.  Plaza Mariachi was mediocre at best and that's being pretty generous.
  
  I was in town for work and arrived by my lonesome, so I asked to sit at the bar.  I didn't want a whole booth to myself after all.  The hostess escorted me to the bar area where I discovered I was the only patron.  Yay.  
  
  When in Mexico, errr a Mexican restaurant, the only appropriate thing to do it order a frozen margarita of course.  The bartender scoured my driver's license for several minutes and finally told me, "I guess that is you."  Considering I'm 33 and my driver's license is only 6 months old I am guessing either I look way better with a tan or that lots of college kids try to come here with fake IDs.  Anyhow, he made my margarita.  It tasted the great but was Shamrock Shake green - very confusing.
  
  As for dinner, I ordered a #something consisting of relleno, burrito, and taco.  I don't cook AT ALL and I definitely could have made this meal on my own.  It was ground beef with next to no seasonings.  The whole meal with nursing home food bland.  I was beyond disappointed.
  
  Honestly the whole experience wasn't truly bad, but it was definitely basic and bland.  There are several other Mexican restaurants in the area and I would highly recommend trying one of them instead.

  I absolutely love this place. Whenever I am in Wilmington I always make sure to come here. The queso is awesome. I always get fajitas and hubby always gets ACP. We always choose this place over El Cerro. It's never very full which I never understand. But their loss my gain! Try this place. You won't be disappointed.

  Deeeelicious little find in Wilmington! We were actually on our way to another restaurant when we spotted this little place tucked in a strip mall. Adorable interior and sparkling clean we were promptly seated in a booth. My boyfriend and I started off with the Ceviche that was served on a flat hard tortilla. We quickly demolished the seafood done to perfection in juice chock full of cilantro before splitting the fajitas for two. HUGE portion of skirt steak, peppers, and onions served with sides of beans and all the fixins'. Points for havin' Cholula on the table. Don't think I didn't notice that. Add 2 drinks and a soda, and a taco and our bill still was only $45. PM is not only satisfying for the tummy but the wallet as well. We definitely will be back repeatedly.
  
  Sidetip: If you really like spicy, ask for their homemade hot sauce made from Chipotle. It's ridic tasty and way up on the scoville charts.
